Super Diamond is comin' to town!!!!!

Okay, I just leaned that Super Diamond is going to be in town. My brother Jeff has implored me to see these guys ASAP, saying they put on an incredible show.....




They're a Neil Diamond Tribute Band:



They'll be at the House of Crave (Next to the LC) on August 20th. I'll be there.
I have only one question....

Comfest Wrap-up

Hey kids. Well, this weekend was Comfest. I really had a blast, but it kinda sucked in that it rained on Saturday and Sunday. I've NEVER seen it rain twice during the same Comfest. On Saturday, we took off to the bar that used to be Union Station in the Short North (I can't remember what it was called), and then returned. It rained hard for about 40 minutes, so it was a really good thing we got out of there. Troopers we were: we returned and hung out in the mud for the rest of the day. On Sunday the rain wasn't as bad so we decided to wait it out. It ended up being a beautiful day.

A starting point.....

So, I've been encouraged to start a blog, if for no other reason so I can keep a record of what I was up to at different times in my life. Seems like 30 years old is a good place to start. So here goes:

• I am currently in the process of divorcing Sarah, my wife of only 1.5 years. Long story short, we just were not right for each other, and will both be happier in the long term.
• I'm still working at the JCC as the guy in charge of their in-house semi-professional theatre company. I've been there for almost four years and am proud that the quality of our productions has continued to improve. I'm not sure where I'm headed with this position, but this seems to be where I'm supposed to be right now.
• I'm dating a wonderful girl named Camille who I like a whole lot. We get along great, and have quite a lot of fun together.
  
• I cannot wait for Comfest!!! Anyone who doesn't know what it is needs to get their ass to Columbus Ohio for the last weekend of June sometime. You won't regret it.
• I love my dog Abby

• My house is being refinanced right now so I can stay in it. It's a real challenge to try and balance everything to allow for me to stay here, but I'm making it work.
• Is it almost football season? I NEED IT!!!!!
• I got burned by my first roomate in the house after Sarah left. He moved in, never paid rent, left me with all his crap, and is now in the process of trying to get it back. Dude is a total mess and I am just going to be glad when he's out of my life. The word of the day is: STAIN

There's a quick update on me. I'll try to do this every now and then. Even if no one reads it, at least I have my record.....
